Me and my #moccasins at the Jean Wetrade #Gameti School. It was a great Regional Heritage Fair! Masi to TCSA for inviting me.

When I travel, I never leave home without my trusty pair of moccasins, and camera.  This year I traveled to Italy, visiting Rome, Florence, and Venice, enjoying the the culture, history and art.  Enjoying too all the pasta, pizza, and espresso a person can have. Below are photos of my moccasins and me, in Italy.
The moccasins in the photos were made by Rosa Wedzin, Tlicho Elder from Behchoko, Northwest Territories. My moccasins are traditionally tanned hide, and have an amazing smokey smell, that brings me back to spending time with my mamàtso (grandmother).
